The Dallas Emergent Cohort seeks to gather people from the Dallas area for conversation, fellowship, encouragement and community as we engage in emerging issues. Regardless of your level of familiarity with the conversation, we invite you to come and join us!

2007 Craven Wilson Evangelism Lecture at Perkins School of Theology

Conversations with Brian McLaren:
What does emerging have to do with the rest of the church?

The 2007 Craven Wilson Lecture, Conversations with Brian McLaren, will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Nov. 12, 2007, in the Umphrey Lee Center Ballroom, 3300 Dyer Street, on the SMU campus.

Pre-registration is required, with a registration fee of $45. (Reduced fee for currently enrolled SMU students.)

To register or find out more, go here.

Our next cohort gathering will be Tuesday, November 13th at 8pm at the Wine Therapist in Lakewood. We'll hear stories from the Emergence conference in Austin and talk about the different theological and practical issues that generated the conversation. Hope to see you there!

Update! Venue Change!

The cohort venue for 10/8 (THIS MONDAY!) has changed. Mark Scandrette will still be joining us, but we'll be meeting at the Wine Therapist, a quiet little wine cellar in Lakewood, instead of Cafe Brazil.
